Overview
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. This role will play a key part in delivering financial insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving business performance.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, providing detailed analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
- Produce monthly management accounts and variance analysis
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions
- Partner with department heads to provide financial guidance and insight
- Support strategic initiatives, including investment appraisals and cost optimisation
- Improve reporting processes and drive automation where possible
- Present financial data and recommendations to senior leadership
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent experience
- 5+ years’ experience in a financial analysis or similar role
- Strong financial modelling and Excel skills
- Experience with financial systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
Desirable Skills
- Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
- Knowledge of data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience working cross-functionally with non-finance teams
